The ref was good. You can see watching the clip that was posted a few pages back, that Floyd didn't really want to hurt him. Mayweather was in a weird place where he didn't want to tee off on him (like Mercer did to Morrison), but he couldn't go any easier or it would really look fixed. Best to let the ref save Mcgregor.

complete farce mayweather pssed around to prolong the fight. mcgreggor couldn't out strike nate diaz over 2 fights in the octagon but he's somehow gonna be competitive against one of the best lb for lb boxers of his era. the interest in the fight just shows how stupid the general public are.
