So...I have been thinking. Classic physique seems like another farce to bring back the so called Golden Era look. But instead...I see a new bunch of juiced up guys that cant pose wearing Marky Mark Calvin Klein underwear. With a few exceptions like Danny Hester who actually was a conpetitive and awesome early 90's top amateur. In my opinion...I would much rather see guys that enter Drugfree Natural shows than these so called Classic Physique guys in Calvin Kleins. And yes...I know a bunch will swear that all Natural tested guys lie and still use...but most guys do not try to beat the test. At least these guys are getting onstage without underwear and attempting to pull off pure bodybuilding onstage. No Calvin Kleins of surfboard shorts. I would like to see the IFBB and or Arnold run a Drug tested division of bodybuilding at the O and Arnold Classic. Fuck it...why not? There will never be the classic bodybuilding look again. Why not implement UFC-Nevada state boxing athletic committee stringent blood and urine tests. And a fucking polygraph too. UFC catches guys all the time. If a guy fails...they get banned for a few years and made a fool of. Especially if there is already the long standing drugged division. I believe that a Professional IFBB drug tested division with a Pro Card lineup of drug tested guys would be way better and way better for the so called sport that Underwear and surfboard divisions of foolishness that is far removed from real bodybuilding.
I think the IFBB Pro Card division would be incentive to see some incredible physiques that truly are drug free as well as some cheaters....obviously... that would slip through but still...we would see a new look on the IFBB stage and a drug free counterpart for the mainstream viewer to have as an option. And yes....of course..this division would be saying.....this is drug free...the regular O is not and full of drug users, but who cares. Most realize that the beasts all use boatloads of gear and the Pianas that opened up a new generations eyes to such. If anything...Arnold should start the division at the Classic...if he really wants to make some small change for the better in this so called sport. And no....I am not anti steroid...having done countless years of steroid use myself. But I have a ton of respect for true drugfree bodybuilders that compete. Would rather see that division happen than the Underwear Divisions. What next....a jockstrap class?
