I had to endure some of this garbage with my girl because she listens to some of the pop music.

But I swear 90% of the music was what I consider black music. Ie. R&B. Many girls seem to listen to this(are there any straight white males that actually listen to this?) Pury shit Imo I cannot stand that type of music. Everything sounds the same to me same voice types, same beats, same generic everything.

They had some tribute to Linking Park since the singer is dead but that's pure hypocrisy BS since they don't actually play their music anymore...

I remember when MTV was actually good music television in the 90's and they played mostly good rock music. Now it's black music and garbage "reality show"- TV....

I've watched the MTV Video Music Awards exactly one time since 2001, & that's while I was in prison and neggar-rigged my tv to get MTV (prison had blocked MTV bc of the rap videos possibly influencing some of the people in there and some of their bullshit about having to do with gang promotion or affiliation)

Had no clue to MTV Video Music Awards were even on TV recently

That was actually one of the later concerts. When MTV first went on the air, they had very little content to fill up the time. So, they used to always play songs from this show. Rick Emmett was on fire.

R'n'B, Funk, Hiphop and you'll even hear some rap going on in rocksongs these days as well.

MTV stopped being a good music-channel ages ago.

Gone are the days when they played actual music. It's mainly bad shows (Ex on the beach, Ru Pauls Runway Models and shit like that) these days.
