As with most people with tattoos, I see Lee all inked to oblivion and I think, There's a person struggling mightily. Barely holding on. Pleading for help.

I've heard this theory a few times - and I've experienced the absolute opposite when actually being exposed to people who enjoy tattooing.

Particularly those who go to the point of full body - those people clearly enjoy art.

I do believe some of them feel the tug to "finish" painting the wall, of course but I think people who are heavily tattooed have a generally better handle on mortality and the temporary nature of life.

Aesthetics aside - it seems to bother a lot of people.  They see that tattooed skin and they think it is permanent - when actually, it's very temporary.

Is this the neck problem that has been giving him such a hard time lately?

I had two cervical herniated disks, and can assure you its a pain in the neck.

The dude is mentally fried. I have no problems with people that have tattoos (I have 3 myself) but to see Lee's decline into this.....

The dude looks like his whole upper body is covered, including his hands and face.  :-\

There are deeper issues at play here.

You are the one with the issues my friend. And they seem to be there to stay.

The only thing that is stupid about it is the lack of employment options, other than that, who really cares how you look.
Not very important other than "career suicide".
And yes, very temporary and very "not important" compared to real life issues... Vain people in love with themselves may think its stupid, again, who really cares what others might do.
As long as they are not hurting anyone else.

Show me a girl with a septum piercing, overstretched earlobes, a body-turned-canvass covered in colorful tattoos, and a vape pen, and I'll show you War Machine's ex wife in miniature format.

Full body ink and heavy body mods are universally the province of the functionally insane. Lee is just one particularly troubled exponent of a common problem in Western society (i.e. bored White people with low self-esteem and too much money for frivolous auto-vandalism). So was Piano. And so on.

I wonder if Squadfather still lives in the trailer with his girlfriends family and taking pics behind a dirty screen door.

Squad was a legendary, meltdown inducing, business tripping behemoth.

Have to agree with "burnout666" on the whole tattoo/body mod. thing although I think there may be also another reason for it.

I think Lee's screaming for attention with all the tattooing. If he can't stay relevant by competing or being in the limelight in Bodybuilding, it least it keeps conversation going as evidenced by this thread. It's obviously become an obsession, not unlike competing as an a pro BBer.

"THIS SPACE FOR RENT"

Schmomalians are drooling over the thought of where that "space" might be located.  As for Priest, he has a sense of humor and used to have a great physique but time runs over us all.  Hopefully his time hasn't run out yet.

In the neck, across the shoulder, down the arm, through the wrist and onto the hand. Oh can't forget scapula pain.

Not fun. :-\
