Well, the bookcase came in a box.
And what's wrong with searching for odd used books at thrift stores? Sure, I could've picked up a replacement copy of Atlas Shrugged for $4.39 on Amazon and had it in my bookcase in 2 days, but it was more fun looking for it in every thrift stores shelves I came across for 3years before finding it for $.50 (maybe it was a dollar? I forget), & in the meantime picking up dozens of other books for $.50-$2. Few novels, but majority being books on business, philosophy/socialogy, history, biographies, & textbooks. Endocrinology (my favorites being from the 1950's), kinesiology, pathology, pharmacology, etc...
