World Greatest Negotiator just pissed off his own party by taking his opponents first offer with zero negotiation

Trump of course said that everyone was happy after the meeting

Quote
President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's tête-à-tête on Tuesday — after a summer of sniping between the two — lifted Republican hopes that the GOP was finally back in sync ahead of a brutal fall of fiscal deadlines.

Not 24 hours later, the president cut a deal with Democrats on a short-term debt ceiling increase opposed by McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan. Just Wednesday morning, in fact, Ryan had scoffed at the Democratic offer that Trump accepted minutes later.

I don't like the fact that this coincides with his son being investigated...but GOP congress is as much to blame as anything. The turth is, when has govt voted to limit their own power or spending. Never really..

Trump shocked all Repubs in the meeting including his own Treasury Secretary
I don't think it has anything to do with Trump Jr's testimony tomorrow.
I think Trump just has no patience for the process of the job and just didn't want to negotiate (even though he and his party hold all the cards).  He probably just wanted to get back to watching Fox and Friends

Not surprising.  The GOP is ball-less and clueless and Trump needs to get some momentum somewhere - so why not cozy up to Pelosi and Schumer - makes total sense.   >:(  >:( :(  :(

World Greatest Negotiator just pissed off his own party

I thought that was the intention.  Hasn't his own party pissed him off too plenty of times already?

Shut the fuck up you commie bastard.

An openly gay, aspiring pro wrestler who lost in a pose down to Billy Guns just made straw man his bitch.

Ouch.

This is the same guy who spent the past 8 years cheering and praising Loser in Chief Obama who lost over 1000 seats during his tenure.

Trump's move was PRESIDENTIAL.

A necessary move under the realities of the devastating effects of hurricane Harvey and Irma. And the presidential polls are beginning to reflect that. He is inching more towards 50% approval rating in which he destroys any opposition in 2020 with the utmost of ease.

All these broke dicks like Strawman and the others try to talk a good game after the fact but when it comes to actually predicting a race they are simply horrible. Always wrong with their predictions, we must remember that!

They thought Hillary would win and they were dead wrong! I was correct!

Word to the wise: If the polls are favoring Trump then yes, bet the house on it.
