So, you can just tell them how tall you are?

They are going to measure height with Jim Quinn's calipers

Ughh... are you reading NPC weight/height? I'm 5'10.5-11" and IFBB weight is 210 at just over 5'10". So if he's slightly over 5'9" he can be 202 if over 5'10" 210 .http://www.ifbbpro.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/advisorynotice_110716.jpg

Seems he has only one functional (transplanted) kidney.
Kidney failure and tumors are one of the potential side effects of performance-enhancing drug use, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis or not.
He will end in hospital soon.

So, you can just tell them how tall you are?
you can go up and down an inch by flaring your legs out and bending your knees slightly.

NABBA used to be 5'10 for tall class, so if you were 5'10 bang on you could do the class below just by crunching down a little, I imagine Flex is able to do the same.

mix them together and it matters not a jot.

When you're on drugs, thyroid and other compounds it doesn't.

Don't worry Flex is perfectly healthy  ::)

stanefferdingFLEX WHEELER - A journey 10 months in the making will reach its destination next Friday on the Mr Olympia stage. .
▶️Hate to sound so fatherly but I couldn't be more proud of Flex's discipline, consistency and time management. He prioritized his family, his health and his career. He attended all of his sons college football games, lost over 30lbs of fat and improved ALL of his blood health markers on each of his last 4 blood tests prompting his kidney specialist to ask him how he did it (Hint: Lose 30lbs of fat, fixes just about everything!!). And he maintained an aggressive international travel schedule for BlackSkull while staying on his meal prep. .
▶️He's created a sustainable healthy balanced lifestyle at a much lighter body weight (Competing at 210lbs), eating much healthier and training much smarter to avoid injury. "Stimulate, don't annihilate" he always told me (In one ear ... that's why I'm always mending an injury!!)

Looking great and trains much more sensibly than Levrone.

But like Levrone he's coming in super conditioned (respect for that) but like Levrone it will be at the expense of some muscle.

He looks better than I expected. Arms a little fake looking but rest good for sure.

According to the IFBB rules for the classic physique, if you are between 5'8" and 5'9" (Flex is stating that he is 5'9" for this competition) that you cannot be over 195 pounds for that height in this division of the classic physique, so Flex will show up at MAXIMUM 195 pounds for the competition.

I've heard him mention at least 4 times in videos he has to be 210
and then correlated that to him weighing 214 at the 93 ASC.
195 would probably end his kidney.
Flex & Kevin both are pretty lose with the facts I've noticed.
He told so many tall tales to sensationalize that book.
Recently, He said his best ever was the Grand Prix after the 1999
Olympia.
1. He said Ronnie told him that Flex should have beat him.
2. That he weighed 256...don't believe it.
3. Then he said his glutes & hams were all striated at that show.
Video & picture evidence tells otherwise.

One that many talk about where he was probably his most conditioned
and probably a little over 230 was the 98 Arnold.
His shoulders were puffy for the 98 Ironman but it had to be Esciline
because they were down and striated by the ASC. McGough, Arnold
and Chad thinks it was his most competitive physique bodybuilding wise.

do you really think adding a snickers in your diet in place of a bowl of potato or rice is going to make a difference to your body composition.

If so why?

Believe this why?  But even if you do believe some of it, his having 4 blood tests in 10 months indicates something for anyone who cares to read between the lines (and it ain't kidney monitoring)

When Flex was at a lighter weight at the 93 Arnold, that is where his glutes and hams were striated. I think that he doesn't want to admit that the best he ever looked was his rookie year and that he was hit or miss after that.

I've been looking for that article on Flex written in 03-04 in Muscular Development titled "The Agony of Flex Wheeler." It showed him barely holding his body weight on a steel walker in a hospital gown post-surgery.

Now he's back to this.

These guys don't learn. Daz Ball took a kidney from his own mother and is busy frying that one. Don Long was on dialysis and went back to competing. Justin Compton same thing. These guys aren't just stupid, they're fucking selfish and deserve to die.

Flex knows he wont steal an OLYMPIA win so he choose to  steal Mr OLYMPIA's patented  phrase instead.

Typical flex taking the easy way out.

When you actually think about it, free of the hype, chattering, etc., it truly is moronic what Flex is doing.

Here's a buffoon who is riding with one (borrowed) kidney, making a "comeback" many years after the fact, and risking it all only to look a mere shadow of what he once was. Well over two decades past his best.

During his prime, Flex was asked if he'd continue weight training after he retired. He responded he would likely never again set foot in a gym.

Wheeler was never of the iron.

Yates, 20 years past retirement, is living a good life, and here's his nearest competitive combatant re-donning a thong to pose down in some drippy "classic" division.

Hey, get back in the gym, if that's what you wanna do, but stay off the frigging stage.

Just because you were one of the best doesn't mean you are necessarily hardcore.

Flex was NEVER hardcore.

He's a narcissist wingnut.

Lol I remember him being quoted as saying when he would stay out the gym after retiring.

Spot on otherwise.

I'm going to disagree about one thing though flex is hardcore, because he's putting his life on the line for a show that realistically he wont even be competitive in. Does

Darem Charles do well in this class?

When Flex was at a lighter weight at the 93 Arnold, that is where his glutes and hams were striated. I think that he doesn't want to admit that the best he ever looked was his rookie year and that he was hit or miss after that.

That's what I've been saying for years

That's another reason why I think he's overrated, his 93 form was one of the best of all time and after that it was hit or miss and his body looked all strange with oil and playing the size game in which he couldn't carry the mass on his small frame

100% agree.  I seems  they are inable to project their designs into the future and develop. Very low intelligence quotient.

Refined sugars vs long chain/complex carbs does make a big difference.

no it doesn't....they all become glycogen in the liver and muscles.....keep trying
