There should only be half an inch difference between them, so I would say it's possible.  I am 5'8.5", and don't feel the need to add a ridiculous amount of height, so I just have a pair of normal shoes that are a wee bit beefy, combined with thick insoles, but nothing out of hand.  The shoes/insoles combined with a full head of hair and good posture makes me look 5'9.5" - or a weak 5'10 - which is fine by me.  Perhaps Shawn also wants to be closer to around 5'10, up from his 5'6.5".  Branch Warren is 5'6", and that looks like more half an inch shorter than Shawn there.

Yes, and I can't believe people do that. 

If they really care so much, why not just wear lifts?  Or even just a fat shoe?  I don't want too much more height, so a decent shoe is good enough to make me look 5'10.  That's fine by me.  At least I'm not "lying" about my height in an unrealistic way.  It's not like I take off the shoes only for women to find that I am three inches shorter.  That would be a major problem.

That said, since there is only half an inch height difference between Branch and Shawn, I do think it's possible that Shawn is possibly wearing lifts in that video.  I'm not sure though.  It could be the angle.

The shoes/insoles combined with his fabulous full head of hair and good posture makes the parched parsh-possessor Matt Canning look 5'9.5" - or a weak 5'10 - which is fine by him (or so he told me).
