They don't like their behavior so they will stop watching. Fine that's how choice works.

Don't expect the world to bow down because you choose to join the military.  Military service comes with benefits too. It's a job for 99% of these men and women. It's not a volunteer military. If you don't like the work environment leave, but don't act like the work is being done for the greater good of society, or for a family in Kansas.

I respect the service men and women of this country. I also respect volunteers, missionaries, et... but when people complain that athletes, musicians and the entertainment world think they are legends in their own mind (and they think this because we celebrate their every move) and then list their "acts of service" in order to establish credibility but instead end up blowing their own horn they come off as hypocritical and disingenuous.

Simply put, a standing uniformed military provides protection of our freedoms every day. If the prescence was non existant all freedom as you know would be squashed within a few weeks by an opposing military  hell bent on taking over America.

Right but that's not fighting for our freedoms, that's standing still. Outside of afghanistan (maybe) no military personnel since ww2 has actually died or fought for our freedom.

Moreso you can argue the massive amount of nukes america owns does more than actual boots on the grounds. We should be thanking the nukes ala beneath the planet of the apes

You could not be more wrong. Every year military personell die while wearning the uniform serving their country in the line of duty. No different is the need be war time or peace time. You need to educate yourself with the need to have a standing military. You have no understanding of its need or the fact that they serve the same purpose in peacetime as they do in wartime.

The nukes are a good tool for threat yet most nation knkw we would not just throw them around. Boots on the ground still do all the hard dirty work.

Serving or dying? How about the Texas National Guard helping in Houston or the active forces in Florida? The US military has done more good around the world then anybody else. From Freedom of Navigation  on a daily basis to disaster response. None of which includes the combat folks are seeing in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere. Our job is to kill people and break shit and we do a pretty good job of it when left alone...its politics and civilian control that muddle things but that's the system. To few troops in Iraq in 03'..not our call.....left to early in 2012....not our call......restrictive rules of engagement in Afghanistan. ...again not our call. Neither was either invasion nor the rebuilding. We're not good at it long term. We practice everything but that. The NFL shit has gotten out of control. Plus Kapernick has tied his star to a bullshit set of facts. I prefer my poltics and football separate. I've got 24 years and 4 combat tours and I won't stop watching.

What part of this do you not undsrstand. As long as a man or woman is in uniform they are protecting our freedoms. Without a standing milirary you would not have freedom that you know of. So when ever a military soldier dies, be it in training or in an active combat tour, they are protecting your freedom. You seem to be completley unable to understand this. If our military did not exist, it would leave open another government would march on our soil by the end of the week.

The framers of the Constitution knew that.
But, they made the elected President as the commander-in-chief.
Without that you could end up with a military dictatorship.
I'm very patriotic and stand during the pledge and anthem

BUT, I accept the rights of others to protest and say things I don't agree with.
That's America.

Never said Colin was right for what he did, i think he should have made his point off of fhe field. You took the same oath every military member took. The Col has some good points yet again, seems to be making about the military.

Colin is a no talent jackass. He took up the cause when he realized he was going to be benched and possibly out of a job.  You can say whatever you want about him disrespecting the flag but what he really disrespected was the people signing his fucking paycheck. I keep my mouth shut in certain situations so the boss doesn't fire me. The First Amendment only protects your speech from the government, not your employer.

You have the right to free speech, but you don't have a right to be heard, or to be free of consequences arising out of your use of free speech.

Some truth to what you posted. Although a print out of US Military action like what you posted only speaks of our involvement there. No mention as to treaties being protected. Next time beford you post such a wall of text, to be fair, you need to provide more information. Not just a blanket of dates to prove your point.
Oh, and one more thing.  England.............yeah, bet old England was happy the U.S got involved after Churchill nearly begged Roosevelt for military action against the Germans. Also lastly but not least, England doth fucked over most of the world for many many long decades. Could be why England and the U.S are buddies. Large world interests have always been backed with military involvment.

military boys are good, but the leaders are fucking evil, US is most corrupt and most evil country in this world, yet it hides it under the guise of fake democracy.

trump had a chance to fix things but he got swallowed whole by the swamp.  too bad.

no clue about intentions, we can only speculate about those, but i said he had a chance, because he wasn't connected to the political establishment, was brash and polarizing, opinionated, very very rich, powerful in private life at the same time as being a public figure for decdaes.

if somebody as independently wealthy and self sufficient as him couldn't do it, nobody can

the cia/pentagon/deep state/industrial military complex runs america, because they know america's entire might is predicated ON THE PETRODOLLAR

that is why they dont give a shit about domestic issues and care about interfering in the rest of the world.  if every country world wide has to BUY AMERICAN DOLLARS in order to buy oil, thus creating demand for it, all of america's power is derived from that

so domestic issues don't mean shit

So, say to make the world a better place, and you could remove only one of the following countries: US, North Korea, China, Russia, Iran you would pick the US?

Where do you live now?
