Not at all - you can protest all you want - ON YOUR OWN TIME.  I am all for freedom of speech, kneeling but not when you are part of a team, a business that relys on fans and merchandising for your product, not a distraction by some players who are bringing politics and their own ideas into the workplace. Like it or not, these players are 'employees' of the 'business' and they are NOT thinking about the business, but their own opinions. And disrespecting the flag that so many fans hold dear.

Now, anyone from anywhere can have their own free speech, and kneel all they want, BUT ON THEIR OWN TIME. Racism and Police Brutality is very bad, and needs to be talked about and worked on.  Just like I am not watching nor buying any NFL products from these business owners until they give me a product that I want - sports oriented, but politics oriented.

Almost all of the NFL owners, along with the commissioner, have said they have no problem with the players kneeling. Therefore, they aren't breaking any rules or doing anything their owners don't want them to.

well the problem is calling it "police brutality" and "racisim" is rather subjective these days. a lot of people feel it's the police duty to confront robbers and dope dealers and convicts carrying firearms. and recognize the fact that black communities that are plagued with crime means a higher rate of interacting with the police. while demagogues and love to ignore specific individual facts and simply boil it down to racism.

the fact is the constitution which spells out our Bill of rights that allow free speech was enacted by the same forefathers that named the star spangled banner our national anthem. so protesting one in the name of the other is non-sensical. there Re better ways to combat racism and more legitimate battles to fight.
