ARs in 6.5, 308, etc.. Than you will for 223/556

And most guys picking up an AR are using it for the range or home defense so a 243 comparrison isn't a consideration. Plus the availability of parts for ARs is enormous with little need for gunsmithing.

Not to mention 20-30rd (or 50-100) capacity.

Any idea what will happen if you get caught with a gun in Europe? If they know you have one a special force police squat wil brake down your door in the middle of the night to come and get you. Not even close, especially not in CA. The 6.5 is almost unheard of out here, the .308/7.62x51 is called the AR10, the socom .458 is another rare find.
