Ha!  Californians are out of their fucking minds.

I just hope their brain dead policies come back and bite them in the ass but somehow don't affect the rest of us.

Fuck you Commiefornia.

Why aren't you all complaining about the states that do not have any requirements to disclose HIV status? I mean, if you're complaining that California is changing the laws from a felony to misdemeanor, wouldn't it also then make sense to complain about the states that have ZERO laws about disclosing HIV? Not to mention that many states have similar laws as California--they consider not disclosing HIV status to be a misdemeanor (North Carolina, Montana, Alabama). So, why is it okay that Alabama only gives a misdemeanor, but not California?  ??? ???

"At least 33 states in the U.S. have laws on the books that criminalize various behaviors within the HIV-positive population, with 25 of those states criminalizing behaviors that carry a low or minor risk of transmitting the virus. At least 14 states require an HIV-positive person to disclose their status with anyone they share a needle with, such as during intravenous drug use. 24 states have laws enforcing the disclosure of a (known) positive HIV status to all sexual partners. Many states differentiate between STDs and HIV/AIDS, and have passed legislation that specifically targets HIV and AIDS."

the reason people dont complain is that they dont know

only you have so little to do with your time that you actually look up laws regarding hiv and aids

AIDS is a cookie cutter disease. Lenny doesn't have it but if he did it would only spur him onto greatness. And if it killed him that just means Christina Broccolini will carry him to the gates of heaven.

Because much like New York, California is the most liberal state in the Union which makes it the most screwed up. It's a toss up on which state is Governed the worst, us or you.

No it's done to encourage more people to get tested in the first place. The theory is a lot of people aren't getting tested because if they have it and have sex and infect others they can't be charged with knowingly infecting other people.

Heard about this a few months ago on public/talk radio. KPCC outta los Angeles.

Just the other day they were saying std's have increased 30% as unprotected sex has increased because of girls used better/easier long term birth control. Increased std's also (usually) correspond with an increase in HIV infection as well. However, they haven't gotten results back as to the number of HIV infections yet but its expected to mirror the std numbers

Having lived in New York and done a lot of business in Cali, I'd say they are having a race as to see who can become the most screwed up state in the nation. I'm in AZ now and occasionally South Carolina and I find them to be heaven.

Are you some kind of an asshole? It should be considered murder and one should do life if knowingly passes it on.

if a person doesnt die it cant be considered murder, do you suggest attempted murder? but even that is a stretch if it doesnt kill anyone.

second one would think that a person has a responsibility to protect himself regardless.

looking forward to your response.
