Are you one of those guys who walks around carrying a 1 gallon jug of water with you everywhere? So as to let people know that you are a wanna be muscleman...or that you are a fitness enthuisiASS who stays hydrated? Why oh why? Stop it already....and just drink from the fountain.

I've seen this so much..But to be fair BEEFY, some people carry it around because if they don't, they never drink any water! It's a sort of reminder, and it's right there. I know what the stereotypical BB has created for anyone carrying their water. But it makes you drink more water. And some will forget to even drink out of that faucet if they don't lug around their water.

The fact of the matter is no one needs to injest over 64oz of water in a 4 hour time


If you are a true bodybuilder , you’re eating every 3 hours and should Injest roughly 20oz+ per meal


Have a 2 liter bottle and drink from Tesh between meals - use water as a digestive aid as well


If a human become dehydrated it takes 24hours to recover - we don’t adsorb water readily

Why on earth some dickhead carried around a jug like it’s a health benefit is obtuse - you drink more water ? You drink hot spittle by noon, running to a drinking fountain?  How about running to the bathroom is you are injestinf that much water - but like most tools it’s just another way they can express to people they workout because no one ever ask you if you do so you gots to tell em in more ways than one

Exactly.  Fuckin morons walking around the gym with a gallon jug of water, even women do it now.  Most don't workout hard enough to break a sweat anyway.

I never drink from the water fountain.

I actually use a steel water bottle, which prevents the ice from melting over a longer period of time. So I'll just refill it with bottled water if I run out.

I do only at the gym. i fill up a gallon of water the night before (use standard tap water)

my goal is to drink a gallon of water before 8AM

as soon as I wake Ill have some huge swig of water, mix my bcaa, and lemon water with it, i will drink it as a train and drink it when i do my cardio. having a gallon makes me hit the 1 gallon of water before/during and after my workout

when i didnt use one... i was not drinking enough water - so its a win

Drink spring or unflorinated water, have filtration on your faucets and showers but drink out of water fountains when in public so as not to have someone you are on zero terms with possibly conjure negativity towards your libation vessel.
