You think he used oil in the 80's? Before I saw your post I was about to write;
at least back then you knew it was real muscle. I have the tape somewhere of
Eddie in 1988 and he had those arms.
As far as scammers..they are all scumbags & I hope they get what they deserve.

No No.. "OilBased" is the name he used to go by when he was sourcing/scamming out of Florida in the 90s.

Chick had an impressive career in the NPC and IFBB. He stood toe to toe with a prime Markus Ruhl. He has beaten Paul Dillett onstage. How in the world do you have the audacity to call him a pussy?

Ohh. Got ya. Today some artists are so good using SEO's you don't know what's real
or not. Like De Asha, Victor Martinez & others. I give them the benefit of the doubt
because their biceps could be 100% real but I've seen a big bruise on Kai's left Bicep that
looked suspicious & so many delts are obvious I can't let it slide.
Anyway, my respect for Eddie just went down the toilet. Thought he was one
of the good guys.

Dillett had some big ass delts but a lot of it was smoke & mirrors.
Hopefully just Escilene but it's like this in every back pic except his 1st 2 pro shows in 93.

Dillets delts were full of oil. Same as mine (though much more). Some guys have cerrian muscle bellies that can hold more oil easier. Like my D elts. I could put 3cc in the rear and 2cc inn the front 2-3x a week and held just fine. Biceps? Shit incould only putb2cc in them w/o spilling out. Triceps I only hit 3x? Total in my life. I have good tri's w/o it and wouldnt want to ruin that. Had capped xelts since I was 12. Doing upright rows with my boombox in my bedroom. Lats can hold a lot of oil for some. Nasser/ruhl/kovacs/Palumbo etc.. I tried a couple times Nd felt crippled for a week.

Quads? Shoot a ton in your rectus femorus just fine. Look at mustafa Mohamed..perfect example.

Flex admitted levrone told him about site injections

Some guys have the muscle bellies that hold oil better than others. Otgers just shoot glutes. Like priest.

Yea, I don't know much about that stuff but I do know
people have gotten better at it over the years.
Bostin talked about going deep so the definition/separation stays
as much as possible. Makes sense but he damn near lost the feeling
in his hand from one bad shot in that left semi messed up tricep.

Yea deeper you go the less striations you lose. I always used 1.5" for everything as I assume most do who understand how to site inject.

Hell I'd charge $200 to site inject guys delts n traps before shows with Tren n test (if They were running enough Nolva n adex.. If not, just Tren/mast) just to make them "pop" 2-3days before a show

My competing days are over but I sure as hell would pay
someone who knows what they are doing if I'd ever
wanted to take it to that level.
Everyone in today's bodybuilding have big or wide delts
& only an elite few could possibly get away without it.
In the 80's you saw A LOT more striations but the delts
in general just aren't as big and round.
Coleman had to do it..I could tell when he went from
super striated but flattish delts to where they fit his body
but less detail. It was a good trade off for him because he
still kept a lot of striations.

JUST to show it's not one picture:

Esp 03.

If you know anatomy and can see where cerrian heads of the muscle are you can do well. I'd always hitbthe read felt and the spot between the read and medial heads. Always gave a muscle wider appearance esp when in transitions where you'd see them from 3/4 view.

Can always tell when a guy doesn't knkw anatomy and see a knot in that medial delt. Cormier had one for years. Starting in about 98, when his arms grew "quick". Never spoke to him about it.

Noticed it on kamali n pointed it out to him and got me banned on MuscleMayhem lol

Thx for the lessons. I like to learn about this stuff.
One last one. Do you think Heath shoots the quad sweep
part of his quad. It's so beefy but not much going on.
Looks like it should have faint striations at least & they are
substantially bigger than 2014-15 & bigger than any year.
I remember Ernie Taylor shot his quad sweep at one point
and it was obvious.
Took awhile but I found a good pic. His quads looked unreal
big this year. His sweep was more pronounced than Ramy's
but his have striations.

The picture's huge but not showing big.

I think they let Ronnie beat Dexter in the abs & thighs at
the 2004 Showdown or whatever it was called. Jay is the
only one who beat him in that pose. I'm not 100% but 90%.

Some shots when Ronnie looked pretty good and some 2004
comparisons. The last one is from post Olympia 1999 where
he weighed 265 plus. Pretty good for that weight.

I have. O idea. I did notice his vastus lateralis was more prominent this year. But I haven't paid much attention to him over the years.

I usually disuede ppl from shooting the sweep if they have striations n shoot rectus femoris instead. Never the medialis/tear drop either like Ernie. Never comes out right
