hollywood has always been this way.

read the original Godfather novel, there is a scene that quite heavily implies this sort of behavior committed by a high level producer/director.   its been hidden and denied for years, now its finally coming to the for front.  sadly, many in our modern culture will probably hand wave it away as sexual fluidity or some such horseshit.
