Well, I don't know; I wasn't born when he was already posing semi-nude, but looking at some pics when he played Hercules he was actually very good-looking. I just don't agree with the heterosexualised version of Hercules, but that's another topic.

The only text reference to Lou on the front cover says "a look back at his hulking legacy," so I would say it's a bit of everything - from his beginning in Brooklyn to present day with his Lou Ferrigno Legacy Competitions. The photo isn't retro nor 2017 current, so it's a good mix for the content of the magazine.

OK, thanks for the details. But just looking at the cover image, it appears Photoshopped. Not being accusatory, of course, but just my opinion. I did work for both FLEX and MD in the past and.... well, let's just say I'll leave it at that...

Not hating on lou, he came to paradise gym in miami when I worked there.  Asked him for an auto after he trained. He signed for me but wouldn't answer questions etc. And no he didn't charge me 20 (no photos were taken). This was around 92.
