We are LIVE on GetBig.com for a new and exciting initiative that’s going to take back GetBig from all the negative posters and run them back to the nameless boards where users hide in the shadows.

Since my absence I’ve been working on something that is going to put the power back into the positive posters. I brought this to Ron and other GetBig dignitaries to iron out some kinks.
People don’t really care that much about some new 9-step procedure. They care about how they will benefit from the expected results.

GetBiggers are simple. They want to spend their time in the gym not reading.We polled the most important positive members. That’s right, some of you received a questionnaire and what mattered to you. You guys were vital to where other programs were missing their mark.What became of a simple few questions turned out to be one of the best things we did on this board. We learned a lot about each other and who uses the forum. So, one of the most important questions popped up from the hundreds of positive people we polled who use this forum and it was…

“How do we combat all the negative, trolling accounts?”

 
We thought about this long and hard in the GetBig War Room. Let’s just say Ron ordered several pizza’s and Chinese take away. Days were spent brainstorming what we should do and during the hour of midnight it struck….

Whenever a negative comment or troll makes his mark just post back that simple phrase. It’s a phrase that sparks hatred and spins the negative poster into a frenzy. They know I’m the most positive influences on this board. They watch how certain posters like Wes, Wizard of War, Vince Goodrum and countless others go out of their way to be nasty and spiteful.

The negative poster is too simple minded. All they know is when posting “I’m Fallsview” they know you mean business. They know that they have crossed a line and their posting behavior is unacceptable.
Everyone positive poster, member on GetBig is FALLSVIEW!

Fallsview is not a person, it’s not a thing…IT’S A WAY OF LIFE…IT’S A VERB! Fallsview is living life to the fullest by being positive to all that enter your universe. Fallsview don’t mean weakness but rather the opposite. Fallsview means you go from zero to HERO!
 
Negative posters believe they can cause you grief by their meaningless, empty words. Let’s show them that EVERYONE IS FALLSVIEW. FALLSVIEW IS EVERYWHERE.

So, when someone is negative, posts something that you feel doesn’t fit the criteria of Fallsview, we spam them with I’M FALLSVIEW. They will get the message very quickly.

It was mildly disheartening to read that Ron only ordered takeaway for himself during the War Room deliberation process, but I'm delighted with the outcome. 'The pen is mightier than the sword' may be a platitude but it is one that also has the virtue of being true. For it is the written word that shaped the world by inspiring ideas which have altered the trajectory of civilisation. Your weaponized words will act as swords! Swords which when wielded by the mighty will cast out negativity, empower the oppressed, and penetrate the minds of the masses in order to make GetBig great again!

it goes deeper than that, friend. add up all the things basile has said about this great day in his bodybuilding career.

to start, there was no mr canada contest in '73, '74, 76', or '77. so an obvious lack of interest.  the actual promoter of the '75 event probably saw what a failed endeavor this was, and let basile do all the promotional legwork (free of charge).  Basile fails to promote the contest outside his local area, which explains why no BB'ers from the rest of canada attended, or even knew about it. stage and signage look like they were made by a 3rd grade class for their school play. Basile bought the trophies (even took pics with the trophies the night before), picked the judges from people he knew personally (and even then, he couldnt get a landslide win rofl).

basiles own brother was the only photographer, which explains why there are so few pics of other competitors. to top it all off, the only coverage of the event is an article written by Basile himself, in which he says its encouraging to see physique guys (referring to himself) enter an arm wrestling contest - essentially patting himself on the back.
