Scantily Clad Thief Admits to Stealing From Uber Driver's Tip Jar

The graceless woman who stole an Uber's driver's tips from his jar has been identified as an 18-year-old girl from Brooklyn who has since mocked her crime on social media.  Gabrielle Canales, who calls herself Gabita on social media, was identified on Tuesday after footage of her stealing cash from driver Mohammed H. Bhuiyan's tip jar in August went viral.  On August 12, a scantily-clad Canales was filmed reaching into his jar and snatching his cash as she got out of the car with two friends. The footage went viral on Tuesday after reappearing online but Canales was remorseless and appeared to revel in her newfound infamy.

The driver didn't report the incident to cops, according to the NYPD.
