Steroids - Why isnt science coming up with better steroids?

there has never been so many scientists, labs etc as now in the history of the world.  never so much expertise, high educations, experience, money invested etc and yet, people are using the same steroids they did 50 years ago or longer, only less potent!

why is that?

you would think by now some chinese masterminds would use their brains to come up with some proper steroids because that would mean $$$ but no.

say a company produces a pain killer that only takes away the pain in 1 person out of 1 million, would you say that works very well? or is there a need for a better pill?

The ones available work well from a medical perspective, so there is no incentive to produce new ones. You might see old ones come back here and there, but you probably won't see any new ones. Gene therapy, etc.... is the new wave as mentioned.

Anabolic Steroid potential has been EXHAUSTED, you can't make them "better" as far as building muscle. I mean testosterone almost exhausts the muscle building potential, it just takes a large mg amount compared to other steroids. SARMs are basically steroids with a more politically correct name, but they will not build more muscle either. The idea is to separate the anabolic effect from the so-called androgenic effect but it's impossible to do fully since both effects are mediated through the same receptors. Same reason drugs like Dianabol and Winstrol etc were developed. More anabolic vs androgenic compared to test but it didn't work so well. Mostly the more androgenic ones are also more anabolic. Tony Huge thinks SARMs will be more healthy but I think he is wrong pretty much.


The future of muscle building is in totally different classes of drugs. Myostatin inhibs or what have you.

Exactly this....the steroids around work and work well...we as beings haven't changed.  Also the human body is, to a point, only capable of carrying so much LBM.  All the designer steroids over the years havn't been any more efficient, just harder to detect...
