Prehistoric, Dinosaur-Era Man Found In Gym.
« on: November 11, 2017, 05:14:58 PM »
The rare "Wes" is considered a “living fossil,” as its makeup has remained unchanged for 80 million years. This summer, researchers found one alive and thriving, adding evidence regarding the resilience of this ancient creature.

This bodybuilder has remained the same, both inside and out, since the time of the dinosaurs, with scientists dating it back to the Crustaceous Period, a time when the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops still roamed the planet.

I joke with everyone here all of the time, but I do hold those that choose to post as themselves in higher regard.

You are the perfect example, aj. We may disagree on things sometimes, but I value your opinions (over some faceless account) any day.

Remember, nothing is truly personal with me.  :-*

Great color restoration job.

Also, great physique. He owns 90% of people in their 20's, physique wise.

99%.

I have secretly admired Wes for his humbleness in that regard. Most people (ala Groink) would be pompous assholes, if they looked that good, at that age.

The last we heard from Wes, was that he had ruled out competing, because he has injured shoulders.

Wes, you have been around for millions of years. Don't get discouraged now.

Find a way.

Wes looks great there.  He recounted a story on MuscleMayhem once where he stated that his wife would always get annoyed with his contest prep - for instance, Wes cracking open a can of tuna and chowing down on it in the weeks leading up to contest day.  Then on the day of the contest, she would be in the crowd, the loudest fan, hooting and hollering in support for him.  ;D

Reminds me of my mother and my strongman contests.  She doesn't much support me with them during training, but making the paper three years in a row now [including my favourite - which was a front page shot in the sports section, for a lift that I actually missed, haha], and my mother loves it.  Maybe my mother and his wife should go for coffee.  :D

Wes looks fantastic here. He obviously busted his ass for that physique.

Shizzo, if anything Wes looking like that in his fifties should inspire you to strive to unleash your best in your thirties.

I look forward to your progress photos

Dear Matt,
Didn't you threaten to punch your mother in the face recently? Maybe you should go and do that! If you don't, I will.

lol at Shizzo stating that he holds people in higher regard who choose to post as themselves.

haha, what would someone do if Shizzo didn't hold them in high regard?  ??? ??? Clearly, one's life would implode, in real life and on the internet.

We all aim for Shizzo'a acceptance. Without it, how would one function?  ??? ???

WES, I have forgotten your bodybuilding history and where you trained and where you lived but it's possible that you may have known this guy .... and maybe 'he' is even 'you'.

Small world if that be so!

He was about your age and competed in the LA area ... especially in those small Venice Beach contests which were held in that Venice outdoor theater  where nothing stands at present.

He was way before his time and was totally ripped. If there was anyone on this planet with zero-percent-body-fat ...... it was this guy.

Possibly even negative 10 !

His 'secret' was his diet .... For many months before any contest he would fine-dine on nothing but tuna-fish and water.

But since canned tuna back then was soaked in oil ... he would strain that tuna through a nylon stocking until it had the consistency and dryness of fresh milled saw-dust.

He was always hungry for a hot dog and a hamburger and a chocolate shake, but he was diet driven and that fishy saw-dust and water worked exceptionally well.

He always left with a tin can trophy .... Plastic was a rarity back then.

And he always smelt like he had just jumped out of the sea after swimming with the dolphins.

True story.

Do you recall this guy!?

Was he you!?
