When I was 12-14, I would have loved to have sex with one of these teachers. But I can tell you that years later, I am certain that it would have turned out to be a bad idea. In other words, as much as I personally would have wanted it at the time, it would have been bad for my mental health and sexual development.
Ultimately this depends on the male - I suspect many [most?] teenage boys would love this, and not regret it. But the fact remains, there is a power dynamic at play here that becomes a bit of an issue - and definitely an issue in court. Not as bad as employer/employee, but it's still something.
Is it just me, or do they always cover the cases where the teacher is hot?
I suspect that more cases get covered, but ultimately the ones that circulate/go viral are those with very attractive female teachers - that leads to the wrong impression that the female teacher is highly attractive in most cases. I suspect that is not the case in reality though.
