Regarding Raquel Welch and Sophia Loren,  It's strange that so many would say the exact same thing but as far as female actresses, I only seek out these 2 for a movie with  a female lead and it's not necessarily because of their acting ability.

It would be interesting to know why for each person.  For me:

1. They both have female shapes with natural breasts, hourglass waistlines, and female hip structures(which many prominent sex symbols these days do not have)
2. They both look female facially. Big eyes, full lips, mounds for cheekbones. Not makeup dependent.
2. They both have solid tone tanned skin.
