Since the statute of limitations is determined state by state and since if this happened, it was outside the U.S. what are the statute of limitations? In many states it is 10 years if the event was reported within a certain time. My guess is this situation is beyond the statute of limitations. If Al Franken cannot be tried in criminal court and if he does not admit to it, he cannot be proven guilty.

The question is, should he be thrown out of Congress on an unprovable accusation? Maybe some people think that would be an act of social justice. I'm not so sure about this. Social justice could be a dangerous place to go, when it relies on opinion and not on the facts of a situation.

Let me say this.  I despise Al Franken and everything he stands for.  He's obviously a lying scumbag and a hypocrite.  There's nothing I'd love to see more than him forced to resign in shame.  It's clear that he did some scummy stuff to this chick and according to her, he forced himself on her and stuck his disgusting tongue down her throat.  Fuck him and his whole crew.

However, in the interest of accuracy I want to point something out.  If that woman was wearing a ceramic plate in her vest (as they are designed to hold), he did not grab her actual breasts in this photo.  It's difficult to tell by looking at the photo if there is a plate in that carrier so we don't know for sure.  I would assume that there is.  I don't see why they would put her in a Kevlar helmet and a plate carrier and then not put the actual plate in it.  The plates in those carriers are hard and designed to stop bullets.  You can't feel a tit though them.

What he admitted to was bad enough on it's own.  Did he actually grab her breast?  I'm not so sure.  Like I said before though, Fuck Al Franken.
