Haha, it was the 2002 Master's Olympia contest where the - err...pro helper* - came up to Chris and told him to take off his ring and classes. His watch too, if I recall correctly.
He showed up late to the stage, and still had all of that on.
It's funny, but I thought it was 2003, but that was the year that Claude Groulx won, and the year that Orville Burke would have been competing, had it not been for the incident where, I believe, he had to be induced into a coma, and has not been the same since. No one seems to know much about this incident, and for that reason - neither do I. That deserves its own thread, but whenever that pops up, no new information emerges.
*Forgive me for forgetting, but what is the name of the position of that tall N who helps the bodybuilders on stage? There is one notable tall N who I know keeps reappearing, and may still have the job today at the Arnold and/or Mr. Olympia, but what is the name of that job? I think "ator" is in the name, like "Invigilator" It was actually a tall N in this position who came to get Dallas McCarver when he collapsed on stage. In addition to Guy Cisternino with his black and white beard, Brandon Curry, and some others.
EDITED ON DECEMBER 15/2017 TO ADD: Expediter! I think. The IFBB's expediter asked Duffy to remove everything but his posing trunks, after he showed up late to the 2002 Master's Olympia. Perhaps later the large N expediter also asked Duffy to remove his trunks?
Then proceeded to swallow the sperm of Chris Duffy?
