In past jobs I've seen a lot of caregivers from different parts of the world.  Filipinos are the best caregivers I've seen.  The worst I've seen are from African countries.  I've seen a lot of incidents where they are very short and rude with elderly people and very rough when moving them.  We do a horrible job of taking care of our elderly people in the US.

Just ship them off to an old folks home. Another reason is that many people cannot afford nor want to take care of their elderly relatives. People today value youth. They don't value wisdom or respect for their elders. Thank a certain generation for this.
