Happy Thanksgiving Getbig!

I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving. Like every year I will be smoking a Butterball turkey on the Weber grill, making homemade noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and pumpkin and apple pie. This year will be different with the passing of my mom in June. An empty seat at the table to remind us all.  :'(  Enjoy and be thankful of everything and every one.

Mine went nearly 20 years ago now - you know how I coped?  Just by trying to make her proud with everything I do.  Kept her alive in my mind - still does, in fact - and made me 1000 times the man I was.  You just keep making her proud brother....

Thanks everyone for the condolences. We sat around after dinner and shared our favorite moments with her. Today wasn’t as bad as I feared it would be. I hope everyone enjoyed theirs.
