I don't think I've come up with any ridiculous excuses in this thread or in any of our exchanges in the past. I just see things differently than you and I think the causes of these issues are more complicated than blacks being genetic failures.

Lemme ask you a serious question: If you were given an assignment to create a permanent underclass in a country, you had centuries to do it, almost unlimited resources and the ability to influence powerful people, how would your plan deviate from the history of blacks in America? How would you come up with a more successful plan? Keep in mind that the only reason legal slavery was abolished here was as a result of the deadliest war ever fought on American soil and many people claim that the war didn't even have anything to do with slavery. So, if your plan incorporates slavery,  let's assume that there would be a similar turning point where slavery is abolished and your underclass is free. Are there any significant changes you would have made ?

I know it's unlikely you're gonna give a serious answer to that, so here's my thing. I know slavery existed in other forms all throughout history, but never like here in America. Never where it was an entire population of people who looked a certain way, with no realistic hope for most of them of escaping servitude. As long and gruesome as that period of American history is, I don't even think it's the era that did the most damage.  I think the institutionalized racism- in a VARIETY of different forms- that followed that period is where the real damage was done.

I literally said that the most damage occurred after slavery. None of the points in your post contradict that. I don't think all racism- institutional or otherwise- magically disappeared with the civil rights, but one of the biggest forms of current institutional racism is the criminal justice system. Most of these huge social problems are things that have exploded in the last 3-5 decades.

Many more whites than blacks are killed by police during a given year. However, per capita more blacks are killed. Of course, per capita is a system designed to make blacks look more violent so we can’t use that.  



The truth is that given the insane amount of crime committed by blacks compared to that of whites, blacks are treated pretty well by the police. Probably more should be in jail.

The obvious answer for blacks as a group is to not act in a way that requires so much police involvement in the first place. But that’s obviously too much to ask.

When has America in general not painted every black person with the same brush or ignored patterns? I mean,  great, you had some black friends in high school and a lot of people voted for a black president, but racism is woven right into America's dna. You say white America needs to become racist, I say at what fucking point haven't they been?

I think human beings of all races are wired to be very tribal.  I think that there is a good reason for that historically.  It can be problematic when all the "tribes" attempt to live together as one people like we are now.  I'm not saying that multiculturalism is bad, quite the opposite.  But we have to realize that what modern society is attempting to do right now is very counter to the nature of all human beings, not just whites.
