IN WWII Germany overextended their reach. No rapid need to take Russia, which could come in due time. Control the Baltic states, central and eastern Europe which pretty much fenced in Russia. Italy was a weak partner with Hitler at the time.
England was the grand prize and with potential German bases (air force,troops,navy) in Ireland, could have been overtaken. France and the lowlands were already well established by Germany. England would be cutoff from the rest of the world.
When a political ruler like Hitler takes over military operations, most likely disaster is the result. England could easily have been under Germany's rule since the mid 1940's. The US really had no positive leverage, or foreign base of operation, for a war effort to intervene by going to battle with Germany.
I could see a German uprising against the Islamic population, sooner than later.. A self healing political and military campaign in their eyes. Once Germans get over their guilt from the last world war, they could very well set a pattern of extreme prejudice for the survival of their country and the German people. Looking back onto German history for century's, you can pretty much bet that Germany is on the brink of taking actions judging by their past. .
