I have never been Trump's fan. The fact that he could run for President was bad enough, voting for him was never an option. Hillary is no angel, but at least she knows her way around the U.S. Constitution. She has a better understanding of how government works. Without the cooperation of Congress, a President is pretty near powerless. Nothing gets passed (holding my breath on the tax bill).

Let's hope the voters are given better choices in the next Presidential election. It a bitch when we're stuck picking the best of the worst.

Almost all politicians will do whatever it takes to get elected and later reelected.  You might wonder why they have so much trouble doing the business of Congress. I think it has to do with protections of people being discriminated against due to race or religion. Since that has been ruled unconstitutional, when a President does it, it doesn't hold up.  

I'd argue that international policy can be as discriminatory as you care to make it and still remains outside the purview of the judiciary.

If an American citizen wants to travel to Syria and return then it's a court matter if the ban infringes on that citizen's rights.  Non-Americans residing in other countries and American courts have no relationship.  I'm mystified as to how a court justifies it's authority to weigh in on immigration and refugee issues.

I'm equally confused by Trump supporters celebrating the decision.  It's a loss.  He's accepting the court's refusal to let him set policy without their say so.  That's why Charlemagne crowned himself and told the Pope to go piss up a rope.

It's not a question of whether a policy is racist.  A court simply doesn't have the authority to set or curtail international policy.

I support a President's power to set policy because the President is an elected official.  If his policies suck then they'll get changed by the next guy.  The courts aren't elected and they sit until they're dead, so I don't think they should have veto power.

Those are the real issues but to answer your question: Yes I support a moratorium on Muslim immigration.  I have other ideas that Trump people wouldn't like, such as leaving the Middle East completely and issuing an apology to the entire region for killing them wholesale.

Your hair color/height comparison is a poor one as presented.  How about if blond people who are 5'11 won't accept the law of the land over their own blond 5'11 laws and the overwhelming majority of terrorist attacks are carried out by blond 5'11 people?  Think maybe we'd be wise to look real close at blond 5'11 people before letting them in?  

It's nice to be nice but you don't fuck around when it comes to security.  There's a direct correlation between Muslim immigration and deaths caused by Muslim immigrants, and the US doesn't need that.
