If someone did a scientific study, they’d come up with astronomical suicide rate for porn stars. For one thing, there’s little or no family relationship. Can you imagine the small talk at Thanksgiving if that’s your profession. Many of us glamorize them but their lives are rough (with exceptions, of course). Worrying about disease and infection is another aspect of the psychological challenge, so no surprise that this might have been a “triigger” in her case. But straight or gay has not too much to do with it. My guess is both groups in the porn community do themselves in at an alarming rate.
