I don't know what situation you are referring to; I prefer to stick to the unfortunate case in discussion. It is unfortunate that some people are manipulating her passing to advance and justify their homophobia. She had a heated discussion with some people on social media. There is criticism about her comments that are valid. What is not valid is aggression of any kind.

I don't see whose freedom is being taking away. If you are talking about her not wanting to have sex with men who do gay porn I haven't read any of the male performers demanding to have sex with her. Her tweets were unnecessary.

Since starting in the industry four years ago she has won two Adult Video News (AVN) awards.

Can you imagine the small talk at Thanksgiving if that’s your profession. Many of us glamorize them but their lives are rough (with exceptions, of course). Worrying about disease and infection is another aspect of the psychological challenge, so no surprise that this might have been a “triigger” in her case. But straight or gay has not too much to do with it. My guess is both groups in the porn community do themselves in at an alarming rate.

How many females who were performing in porn at the time commited suicide in the last ten years?

I am talking about the research related to suicide. I could not find specific research that studies suicide in the porno industry. However, the general research shows that suicide is often due to the convergence of multiple risk factors and/or multiple life stressors--not ONE isolated factor.

I just read that she had a history of depression. We will likely never know what her depression was related to. But, as I said, the online harassment probably added to a history of depression related to other factors.
