Have to give it to Tanaka post season though, he’s always been clutch when it counts

Tanaka so far has only one bad season this year

He's not that great other then his home runs he could easily be a bust . I think he will pan out though

He was 4th in OPS. 1st in RBI's. And he's a good fielder.

The Astros, Indians & Red Sox, along with the Yankees, all look like shoe-ins to make the playoffs again.
And then the playoffs are pretty much a crapshoot (once the wildcard winner is settled.)

Didi, Hicks and Gardner are good as well, with Torres likely to join a few weeks after ST.

Judge and Stanton don't need to hit 50 HR.

It's not about the big three. Too much depth.

I guess the only silver lining for baseball fans of other teams is that now Bryce Harper probably won't face the decision of whether or not to shave his epic beard (no homo) by possibly joining the Yankees in 2019.

if the choice is between Stanton for big money for 11 more years ... Giancarlo's age 28-38 seasons
vs.
Harper for crazy money for (also say) 11 years starting in 2019 ... Bryce's age 26-36 seasons

then I'd fear more Harper in pinstripes.

Judge, Stanton, and Sanchez give the Yankees power from the right. Bird gives the Yankees power from the left side of the plate.
