Me thinks Falcon isn't the type of guy that drives anything new enough to have a warning light.

Did you change the oil yourself? Some shops “ forget”  to put oil back in or do other stupid shit.
run a few quarts through the engine and check for leaks.

I' a dip-shit when it comes to dip-sticks .... so I gotta ask this question....

Why does the oil NOT show on or adhere to each side of a dip-stick?

When I put my finger in a glass of beer for instance, when I remove it I can see  that my finger is wet on all sides of it.

Do things work differently in the automotive world?

PS... I have a ten year old Toyota and have never opened the hood to check for anything because a qualified Toyota mechanic checks whatever is under there every three months.

Yesterday I discovered I could lift that hood myself and saw  my engine for the first time..

A  whole new world of discover.

As you can see I have absolutely no interest in automobiles as long as it gets where I want to get to without breaking down along the way.

And I am an AAA member. They do good things when my car stops running correctly or if I get a flat on the outside-side of my tire

Something like a 350, I'd figure you could get an entire long block from Pep Boys for less than $1,500. Shit, I know  it's been 15 years, but when I was in high school they sold 302 motors for $800.

So what you are saying is that while you are bored the shit out from the people here by talking an endless stream of bullshit about electronics and nutrition, are you too stupid to understand how your car's dipstick works? Well, that tells everything about you, isn't it? Why don't you try this: Less drugs an alcohol, more meditation in silence? That way you don't make a fool of yourself in daily basis  ;D

Based on the thread title, I thought you picked up a guy nicknamed "350 Engine" the night before.

Cool story bro.....

Except for the fact that if you regularly  changed your own oil you would know if you were consistently burning through an extra quart or two.

And that's not even taking into consideration that the ticking sound coming from your motor would be SO LOUD upon just starting it you would know instantly something was wrong, no matter what the dipstick said.

So what really happened?
