The sport is dead.Has been for some time.
I do a lot of business consulting and I'm amazed at competitors that don't have any social media game. It's all about social media now with no sponsor money.Love him or him or hate him he's making money and crushing Breon in this department. He's 22 and get's it.All the clothes he wears including dress clothes are from sponsors.https://www.instagram.com/cbum_/?hl=en
No money left. No one cares about Flex magazine. People are getttinf their information other ways. I mean, who really buys a flex magazine anymore.
What sport?
What sport? Are you kidding? I will tell you what sport...The sport of stuffing a sock inside a thong and wearing on stage while holding one hand up to your ear, asking the crowd for applause as you walk back and forth to each side of the stage and jumping off the stage in order to give a thumbs-up sign to the men that are staring at your sock.
I was at a Barnes & Nobles the other day and peaked over the stand and saw a Flex mag and I picked it up and was surprised to see how thin the magazine has gotten.....it used to be a 300+ pages, it felt half that now...I guess those Ads pulled out and left Flex dry on the stand
If Flex does not want to pay its athletes Joe Pietaro of Muscle Sport Mag may step in and offer them big money. He has a HUGE following on line and I hear his magazine's sales are booming. Another option for top athletes may be to switch to NSL where they can get big cheques and fair judging. Finally they could collab with Jason Jenova to promote his supplement line. There is plenty of opportunities in the health and fitness industry....
