I wonder if Santa will bring me Captains of Crush hand grippers!

Did you ask him personally or are you depending on one of his less than reliable helpers?

I understand everyone deserves a second chance and part of Santa's charm is his willingness to offer opportunities to those looking to reestablish them selves but he needs to vet his screening process because A LOT of messages ARE NOT being delivered.

It leads to frustrating Christmas mornings.

I have several captains of crush grippers. Was a fan of them for many years. Nowadays, I find the movement unnatural and it strains the joints. They just hurt. I used to be able to close the no 2 (which was monumental for my weak frame) but now I can barely do the no 1 a couple of times.

I have tons of grippers. CoC are very good. (Randy (Dr. Strossen) is a friend of mine that I see at the AOBS dinner on occasion). And some of the CoC knock-offs are good.
I bought an original Ironman Gripper from the 70's years back for 20.00 at the AOBS dinner of of a friend.

I mentioned it on Dr. Strossen's forum (Ironmind), people were going crazy asking me to sell it to them.
I tried ebay, and got 350.00 for it :)

Its sort of a cult (visit the "Grip Board") but a fun hobby never t he less...

The Bruce Lee gripper is actually my fave.

I think Phil Heath has used a version of these. Also the V angled forearm bar that you put weight on in the middle is good as well.

I love these crazy old advertisements.

They're so politically incorrect.

The guy in cartoon looks like your fellow countryman-competitive bodybuilder, Sulby Prince. Looks like Sulby beat Rusty Jeffers by a decade or so. Clearly the British muscle scene has its dark side.

Beach, to our working together at L.A. Fitness and the great friendship we shared. We were best of friends and there are no words to decribe my pain as I had hoped one day to see you again. So to you my Sulby, the one person that nicknamed me 'Bundykins' I will never forget you and thank you for giving me the years of happiness you did. I know u are in a better place, free from pain...I love you and am so happy you have found peace, the kind of peace you could never find on earth. Love, Jerika Steele (aka Cyndi White, 'Bundykins')

Story about Sulby
He was first backstage in the heavyweights the year Dorian got his pro card (88)
He was getting ready and his fellow competitors started coming in, he turned to his friend and said "every time that door opens I drop a place"

Jeff used to meltdown and quit all the time.

“fuck this place I’m out of here”

Then you’d see him back again 3 months later.

Any Mick Theo stories? A british guy that I know out here...that used to compete at a low level back in the 80's...told me that Theo abused androgens way too hard, would get bad back acne,,, and bleed on benches.
