Little compassion for hard drug users in the US - would never happen over here. Nine out of ten people consider addicts on par or worse than paedophiles.

Why is that?  They need to take 20mg of Oxycontin, lie down on their couch and chill TFO.

Most only know what they've seen in movies/heard anecdotally, which is largely sensational and inaccurate.

Right move for the wrong reasons.  It's not the government's job to help addicts.  It's the government's job to stay the fuck out of people's business unless there's a compelling reason to intervene.

I believe drugs and prostitution should be legal.

This will reduce criminality.

prostitution should be legal.

In Hollywood/other work environments it already is just in exchange for jobs, etc. Just have to watch out for the pesky #metoo movement years later..

They should also make state sponcered fight where if your pissed at some one you can choose to fight them in the big colloseum if its fair match and you fight severe felons In there like life murders child molesters and instead if getting tickets you get lashs but almost every thing will be legal.

And might be a lot less expensive for society. The constant war-on-drugs costs what, dozens or hundereds of billions of dollars per year?
And it has been failing for decades.

Perhaps wise to try something new

(I've never used anything, but it's somehow weird that people who drink a bottle of booze a day are fine, but one sniff of coke a day and they are locked up. Does not make sense imo)
