His health got so bad he was forced to roll around with a Rascal rather than walk.

Good thing he attempted to address the weight loss otherwise he would likely have been dead in a few short years.

Regardless, I doubt this situation helps things much. I could only imagine the psychological hellhole he is in right now when you take everything into account.
