Alex Guerrero (Tom Brady’s Personal Trainer)
« on: December 23, 2017, 09:58:27 AM »
Belichick was right to kick his ass out. Personally I don’t care who’s trainer he is, Bradys or otherwise he’s out of line and Belichick did the right thing and should have kept him out completely. Unless he’s on the Pats payroll, is he going to assume all responsibility if a player is injured on the count of his doing?

Hard to believe anyone would get injured on a count of his doing. Those trainers are all overrated anyway. It's all placebo and they're all taught the same stuff. Apparently Guerrero has some unique Chinese-style that he went to school for. And knowing Tom Brady, who's approach to everything is pretty obscure, went along the lines of wanting to do that Chinese style instead of the traditional medical staff.

Brady doesn't workout with traditional weights he uses resistance bands. He doesn't workout with regular trainers he uses special styles. I personally think he'd be able to play at 40 years old regardless because he's a good and smart player. Although he'll still make millions off of his Tom Brady "style" training booklet and app because people think there is a big secret and special app you can get to be great in a sport for a long time. Because it has nothing to do with hard work and talent and IQ  ::)

He went in and told the players he works with, including Brady, to not do what the Patriots Strength staff tells them and to take his advise instead.

I might be reaching a bit here. But i think Brady is more angry with Belicheck about the fact that they won't be able to promote their training methods or market them as well without Alex around Brady all the time rather than JUST at Gillette since his plane privileges and travel privileges with the team have been revoked.

You can't argue with the results Brady has been getting. Guy is performing phenomenally and at the top of his game. You don't see guys his age doing that in the NFL. He's doing something right.

Also, Belichick is a phenomenal coach. So you can't argue with his success either.

My guess is Belichick told Brady he can't do what he wants with his trainer, but it's not applicable for the rest of the guys on the team.

Both guys were pretty mum on the subject when grilled in a recent press conference.

That maybe so but Brady also has the marketing dollars and fame to push his products without putting his team at risk. Again, Guerrero isn’t (as far as I know) an employee of the organization. As far as a player getting hurt? The game has changed. There more injuries in the league in the past few years than ever before. As of week 9 there over 43 ACL injuries alone, most of this lies on the outside trainers that work with players during their off-season but more so on the CBA for restricting the amounts of time that players are allowed to work with the coaching and Strength staff.

Absolutely and I’m not but at the same time Brady is protected on the field by the refs but that neither here nor there, the point isn’t the results the point is knowing his place which he clearly doesn’t. During the off season it Guerrero’s call during the season it’s the Strength staffs, AT’s and Doctors call.

I will be shocked, if Tom Brady does not run for a political office, in the future.

Hell , he could be President.

Who would you vote for: Tom Brady or "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson?

Hopefully neither of them run. They're athletes and actors. But if I had to pick, it would be Brady.

Dwayne will get elected for sure because Brady would get toasted for his former ties and friendships to trump by all of the retard millennials

If I remember the story right from the Boston sports radio station around here, its Alex trying to recruit more and more Pats players as his clients.

Coach,

I haven’t watched any football this year but I occasionally see the injury report crawl at the bottom of the screen when I’m watching MMA or something on a sports channel. I notice a huge number of hamstring injuries. To what do you attribute this?
