I never said he’s a bad player, just always hear how people overhype him

It’s most likely cause he plays two sports and excels at it, heck Deion does too but he’s one of the best corners ever to play the game

It was more because if you actually watched him you saw how amazing he was. Rather than look at the stats of a sport he spent half his time on. When your mind starts to wander with him that's when you start to realize how crazy good of an athlete he was overall.

Huh? Emmit was injured often. Just played through it. I remember him having a broken collarbone or dislocated shoulder or something or a broken rib but whatever the fuck it was and leaving the game and then coming back and running for like a hundred and twenty yards or some shit for a few touchdowns I'm probably breaking off one of those runs up the middle that he always did and grimacing when he got in the endzone. Cowboys were always fucked up back then but always played. Remember ken Norton jr played almost a full season with a giant brace on his arm because he tore his bicep and kept playing anyways

I'd like to see Emmitt Smith's career yards if he wasn't running behind the elite Dallas Cowboys offensive line.

You could drive a diesel truck through the holes they made for him.

Bro I don't remember Bo that well but he was definitely elite.

He came into the football season straight from baseball, as in he would miss the first 8 NFL games because he was playing baseball and be ready to pay with no camp or preseason.

If he's concentrated on football like Deon did he would have a hof.

Haha people always say that but Emmitt played 15 seasons and how many 1000 yard seasons he had?

I’ll let you look that up

Always people bringing up the O line but even when he played his last years in Dallas and AZ he was still producing

For a RB he still played 15 seasons and was very durable was what I was getting at, his longevity and pretty much never missing games

Jamaal Charles averages the same and has multiple 1000 yard season and been in the league for a while.....
