Did his lawyers ever present an "insanity defense"?

And was/is it possible that there were other "apartment visitors" who managed to survive but are too damn embarassed to come forth with their owm Dahmer experience?

The other day I rented that new My Friend Dahmer flick on PPV. With Anne Heche. Really interesting. It chronicles his high school period and ends with him picking up a hitchhiker ... his first documented kill.

this is at least the 2nd movie made about him, he's probably smiling in hell, if he was a decent guy nobody would want to watch a movie about him
