Flex Magazine - Dec 2017 and Jan 2018 issues

This hasn’t happened to me in my 33 years of printing magazine business... FLEX Magazine have the same cover in December 2017 and January 2018 issues?!? And not only that, the stories are the same, but only thing that has changed is ADVERTISEMENTS

They likely used the same cover because the January 2018 is a U.K. Edition.

I am sure when the next Flex comes out in America, it will have a different cover.

It's highly possible that one of the main reasons the covers are the same is because one is for the UK market and one is for the American market. When the next American cover is released, there's a high probability it will be different.

I'm pretty sure the reason they used the same cover is because it is the UK edition. They will probably have a different cover when the US version comes out.

I had a subscription to FLEX in the late ‘80s. When I’d return home from school and find a new (bagged) issue in our mailbox, I’d be SO excited.

Fun memories.

Now I’d pass on an issue even if it was offered for free. Well, OK, that’s not true.  ;D

Different countries -

Flex licenses around the world - so yes, the UK version probably is one month behind (depending on when it comes out) then the US version, which usually comes in first.  Each country  can choose to use whatever covers they want (sometimes there are usually more than one cover to choose from)

insane right?! I went to Barnes and Noble Sun, could not believe how shitty the content is, how small the issues are and how much they cost. What idiot in this day and age will pay nearly $10 for a mag full of ads and shitty stories?!
