Never was a Motörhead fan and think Eddie’s playing was average. Nothing special.

Still, it’s sad. Undoubtably he was a member of a trio that is hugely influential in the metal/extreme metal evolution.

I saw him with Fastway opening up for Iron Maiden in 1983. I actually liked that group more than Motorhead, a group that I have also saw live but was never a huge fan of.
