I'm imagine that guy will have plenty of time in prison to ponder whether he should have hit the guy an extra 10 times when he was already unconscious.  This is why you should avoid fighting at all outside of a controlled environment in a ring.  You never know the kind of rage a person might have.  They may not even mean to kill or disable, but when someone loses control anything is possible.

It’s beyond obvious in the video the soon-to-be-dead guy was extremely fatigued and worn by the time the “final battle” took place. Reports state he was essentially ambushed by several attackers before this and badly beaten.

Beyond even this, I’d wager it was his head hitting the ground that permanently KOed him.

Anyone suggesting this was a fair fight is delusional.

The repeated shots after he fell, unconscious, shows the indecency of the MMA tough guy.

If he is a trained fighter, legit, then the same standards that have been applied to boxers are germane.  Hands as deadly weapons, etc. Aside from that, this guy seems like the worse stereotype MMA fighter, a thug who fights well to hurt people, but stupid and arrogant. I don't like MMA for stylistic and athletic reasons, but their fighters should be respected and work to deserve that respect. This guy deserves about an eon in hell.
