Refs constantly talk to all the players on the field. They'll tell them to stop doing something or their going to get called. We don't hear that stuff on the TV but that's the reality. Refs let Pats and Jags play for the first half. Then Jags started to push the envelope so the calls came out. It's how it is in every game...Coaches teach players to be nice to the refs. Smile to them. Ask them how their families are doing etc. They're human. It's simple psychology...Brady kept throwing the long ball up for grabs because he knew his receivers would get mugged eventually because Jag players don't know the kind of pressure of such a game. Jags show restraint on a couple of bombs but panicked on a couple for sure...

Here's a list of the top 10 (LEAST) penalized teams in the NFL. 5 of the top 6 LEAST penalized teams in the NFL didn't even make the playoffs. Patriots being 7th out of 32 teams in penalty calls against them fits exactly into many of their other statistics(Disciplined) They don't make a lot of mistakes. They're not the best at it but their in the top 10. Philly is one of the worst disciplined teams in the NFL ranked 28 out of 32...So look for that team to get many more flags than the Patriots under enormous pressure in the Super Bowl when mistakes are made. And when that happens many people will be crying"fixed" etc. When statistically that is exactly what should happen...

This is the first year I've followed American football as an amazing program called NFL red zone is on covering all games as they happen live here each Sunday on TV. I took a while to understand the rules and the plays but I'll definitely follow it again next year. There's slight cheating to get any slight advantage in any sport, the best teams can usually pull this off and get an advantage. Not saying Patriots are cheats at all, but even in the soccer English premier league the big teams get the vast majority of 50/50 calls, especially at home
