You boys laugh, but Loadstar was critically acclaimed -

Indeed.  Sounds more like a '70s gay arthouse flick than a p0rno...

"It is the first sequence that will draw the most attention.  Bruce Morgan appears as a young clergyman who, on an afternoon beack junket, watches Dakota working out on various athletic equipage.  Later, upon falling asleep, Morgan fantasises the muscleman as a Christ-type figure, and in the surrealistic Wakefield Poole style of "Bijou", there is a seduction climax.

This sequence, titled "Resurrection," will polarise an audience.  Heavy religious experiences, in any faith, ancient or modern, often have very sexual overtones.  It isn't talked about much among the rank and file faithful, though the language and form of the experiences leave fairly obvious clues.  It's the facing up to all this that will either please or outrage audiences.

This sequence can be, therefore, hailed by some as a very sensitive, philosophically logical fantasy of a religiously inclined homosexual.  In a loose sense, it is almost the gay equivalent of "The Miracle," remembered as another component of a film trilogy ("Ways Of Love") which caused many reverberations two decades ago.  However, others are likely to find the sequence - despite its very discreet and tasteful handling of matters - somewhat crude and exploitative.  Even among audiences who go along with the concept, there are many possible philosophical controversies to consider.  One thing is certain - no neutral opinions are possible.

More ambitious and successful is the middle sequence.  "The Winner," featuring a model known as Stacey, a muscle type whose posing at a male beauty contest triggers a fantasy in the minds of a young kid in the audience.  Multiple exposure work is generally good, and slow motion is the (quite literal) climax which satisfies the latterday demand for explicit proof of arousal."

I wonder if Mr Drasin regrets posting here. I almost wish I hadn't posted the Pornhub link with him fucking Ken Sprague.

I like his Youtube channel very much and he seems like an interesting guy

Though, he tries to get to much mileage out of knowing Arnold back in the day.

He always represents himself as "Arnold Schwarznegger's Training Partner" when there is scant evidence this was ever the case.

Also, his "Big Time Pro Wrestling" ::) ::) Career seems to have been nothing more than a jobber doing weekend shows at high school gyms in SOCAL

Do you think Ric was not aware of what would happen here? Do you think he just recently found GetBig ( I suggest he hes has been reading this board for years.) He's a big boy and could care no less if there was a link posted . . . I would think so anyhow. With regards to his wrestling background, when he was in the hospital recently Steve Austin showed up to pay his respects so he must have accomplished something ( I'd also bet he could pick up a phone a get hold of Arnold if he wanted.) We're just kids to him and I'd bet he is smiling reading this thread.

Ric's show is great.  Down to earth solid info.  I remember a gay porn video posted here a while back that was supposedly Ric.  Not sure if it was actually him or not though.

He does get a lot of interesting guests (kind of cool to see which old timers still work out and stay in shapeP but he's not the best interviewer.
He routinely interrupts his guest to talk about himself, often repeating something he said a hundred other times in prior interviews
I find this especially annoying when it gets the guest off track and then they never get back to answering the question or topic prior to the interruption.

Ric has long ago paid his dues so he figures he is an expert when it comes to bodybuilding and training. In the old days there were no courses for

instructors so many bodybuilders opened gyms and became instant experts. Good for Ric to do a show featuring guys from the good old days.

just being old doesn't make you an expert and if you're doing an interview it's better to let the person you're interviewing answer the question rather than interrupting them (getting them off track) to share another anecdote about yourself that your viewers have heard a hundred times already (often it's about how he used to bench 450 or some other similar bullshit)

I'm more impressed with anything Jerry Brainum has to say than Drasin

Well, it is Ric's show so he is entitled to comment where and when he feels it is appropriate. By the way, I have disagreed with Ric and posted under one of his videos. I don't consider him an expert but I think

many people would. I agree that Jerry Brainum was far more knowledgeable re training.

he doesn't seem to be aware that he's interrupting or getting his "guests" off track

then again, it's an amatuer interview show on YouTube that he appears to do in his garage so of course he can do whatever  he wants

just saying it's annoying

I used to watch his channel and I haven't looked at it in a long time

I can only tolerate so much of an old fart telling people how better things were in the past, especially a guy like Drasin who did nothing.

John Hansen does a better job of interviewing and he seems to actually prepare for the interview

Man, I watched a ton of Jerry’s stuff this past week. Guy seems to know his shit. It’s nice when someone with that much knowledge confirms what most of say about the majority of supplements on the market. That 99% of them are complete shit.

You might learn something. In the seventies BB was more about hard training and proper food than drugs.

Today it's the other way around alas

almost impossible to get fat eating protein, the body self regulates, unless you have the condition that competitive eaters have you wont get fat.

old school was and is bodybuilding. you trained hard. rested. ate slept repeat. yes they used some drugs. but always went off for months. pct?  lmao. wasnt needed. no long cycles or tons of drugs.  they took a male phisique and turned it into an art form. made each muscle bigger and defined and full and hard. they were athletic looking and indeed were athletic too. most had real jobs. families etc. training was hard and heavy. they spotted and trained with each other always helping. they hung out after the gym etc.  basically most were friends. did they overtrain? perhaps. but i doubt it. drugs were not the most important things. look at how they all looked. todays bodybuilders looked like bloated dog shit.

30 eggs a day is only roughly 2200 calories. not even half the amount any hard training bodybuilder needs . so no you wont get fat from that cuz there are no excess calories and very little carbs. however if you eat 30 eggs a day and alot of other food you will get fat. protein carbs fat doesnt matter. calories is what matters.   take in more than you use you get fat. not rocket science people. smh.
