Just got a rate increase notice. Neflix standard plan is going up a dollar a month and Netflix premium is increasing $2 a month.

Yeah mine went up two months ago from 11.99 to 13.99 and well worth every penny.

Between the cost of Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. added to the $220 I pay xfinity each month for their Platinum package, it is getting ridiculous. Xfinity on demand often takes you to Netflix and other premium services in order to watch what they advertise. If you don't have that service, you can't watch the show. Regular channels such a FX added FX+ at an additional cost. Here! TV is also an add-on.

I remember the days when you got 3 or 4 channels using an antenna for free. We'll never go back to this because we've been seduced into wanting all sorts of options.

The only thing I watched that was good on ShitFlix was Orange is the new Black, Amazon Prime is even worse.

As  per your recommendations ... I just finished watching all six (6) episodes of Binkey (?) Blinders, Season one.


Good story! Enjoyed it!

But I have a hard time remembering the name of the gang which is also the title of this TV series.

Do the charters in that show ever explain how the gang got that name?

Next up ... Possibly GOMORRA or the one in which the lead characters attempt to get into the minds of serial killers ....a story based on fact!
