Whatever happens, I doubt we’ll have to take up a collection for Vince, but it does make you wonder why he would want to devote so much energy to this particular project at this point in his life. Is there really a demand for this product?

rumor has it, fox  is looking to buy the wwe, that is the only reason i can think of , vince lost alot of money on the xfl the first time around the second will be no different people are not going to pay to watch  shitty football.

I believe Disney is buying up most of Fox’s assets other than the news and business network.  Maybe Vince thinks it’ll make the company more valuable if they have more diverse content but I just don’t see it. Who is the market for this product?

The NFL is in a  more vulnerable than it's ever been in during the modern era, but more importantly, the media landscape is primed for a streaming first sports league. He says he's focusing on deals with web video outlets. All of the major leagues treat streamers as second thoughts.

His focus isn't about getting people to pay or even competing with the nfl. The XFl games aren't going to air against nfl games, just like the first time around.  His focus is about getting a rights deal from one of the streaming broadcasters with too much money and not enough content. Facebook, for example, announced they were planning on spending a BILLION $$$ this year on acquiring programming. Facebook isn't the only distributor with deep pockets.  I don't know whether this new league will be a success or not, but it's a new venture. It doesn't have to be as successful as the nfl to be considered a success.

The sub par players line is wrong.

The line between NFL quality and high level undrafted players is pretty thin. A lot of things come into play in the deep rounds of drafts.
