He suffered a pretty nasty pec tear, and never really regained his earlier form. Still looks good, but lost in the crowd by this point.

As usual, looks good and symmetrical.  Looks healthy, not bloated and puffy with striated glutes like the guys today.

I remember reading an article long ago about how he was being seen as the Straight Man Version of Bob Paris.

Dude had a great physique no doubt.  But have to give him props for getting out of the scene when his health took a hit.  Not like some of Do Or Die competitors today.
