Look at how much money and time has been pumped into it......they are creating new science that cannot be judged accordingly in terms of "safety" because it is just that, new science. They have discovered the key to understanding dark gravity, otherwise known as dark matter. As a matter of fact, who is to say that this technology isn't just as responsible for global changes any less than the planet affecting our entire solar system's orbits, gravitational pulls and polar magnetism. There is little to no actual reporting actually being done on the experiments being done there and the little that is, is purely puff piece caliber with no real reporting.

I'm kinda of in the middle in theory even if they have destroyed the planet already and we are in a altered universe I don't see what it matters I have noticed day to day life has gotten a lot easier for some reason as of late.

It does appear to me the speed of technology evolving is starting to increase very fast and we are on the brink of serious game changing things

I'm not seeing that at all.  It's just the ever finer refinement of computerization.  We're great at developing existing technology and making improvements, maybe combing existing technologies, but overall we're pretty plodding.  Seems like mankind comes up with a genuinely new idea about once every 500 years, if that.

CERN is the kind of place that might yield a new technology.

I'm working on a hardon collider that will make cern obsolete.

I take lessons in life from my dog
He sits around on the sofa all day snoozing, he goes for a walk with me and runs around on the field, he comes home has his dinner and begs a few treats from me and then gets back on the sofa and sleeps the rest of the day.

He doesn't give a fuck about hadron colliders and how the world is collapsing on itself.

Only humans sit about worrying all day, we are the only species that does so, we have to believe we are worth more than just our existence on the planet, we fret about death and not being here, we even created heaven and hell to make us feel like we were going somewhere else and this isn't all there is.

Ego, mans ultimate curse, we recognise the fact that this is all there is but don't have the knowledge to accept that fact.

There's no ego in inquisitiveness.  We are more like curious children asking 'why, why, why, why' without the yoke of ego demanding pretense.

The dog is beautiful because he is true to his nature.  Be likewise true to your own.

I'm so zen my poop makes a ying to the toilet's porcelain yang.
