Levrone this year at the Arnold
« on: February 01, 2018, 06:40:36 AM »
I predict that if he indeed does the Arnold he will place behind last place ...

Question is;  if he places top ten .....( still beaten by a lot of guys who shouldn't even be on stage with a hall of famer )

But Levrone just wants to place better than he did at the Mr.O in 2016 .........

Would it be worthy though ??

WoooSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH   LE VRO NEEEEEEEE   Its Shaboommmmmmmm time

If he is better than 2016 O, I'd say so. His 2016 showing was "worthy" IMO, he didn't look like he didn't belong up there.

Upper body in that pic is on par with the other two, but the wheels aren't there. I usually can't tell the difference because I'm not involved in the industry and they all look the same to me, but that is pretty glaring.

It all depends on what his end game is.   Is he doing this to add more wins and trophies to his mantle?  If so, it's a lost cause.  If he is doing this in hopes of obtaining more sponsor opportunities or contract/supp deals.. then he is on the right track.

Poor Flex having to watch Levrone still get all the attention.

BUT... one thing is missing. His trademark delts. Dexter and Phil both have bigger shoulders than Kevin.

In the 90’s, Kevin’s delts were nearly always the best onstage.

Don't think it's possible to replicate his 90s-physique...

Esciliene (sp?) is no longer produced.  Could be why according to rumors, Kevin bought the entire stock when it was revealed it was being discontinued.

He still had better calves than Flex Wheeler did recently.

No. He was in his late 30's then. He's in his early-mid 50's now. The man is not producing anything near the same amount of testosterone as he did at that age. Btw, I don't know why people don't include in 1999 in the 2000-2003 years, because 1999 is when the decline for Levrone began (overall loss in size), not 2000.

I'd argue that in 1999 it was more that he just came in OFF than actually declining outright. I know it is easy to group it in with the overall downward trend but I don't fully subscribe to that mindset.

He lost the desire to train hard starting in 1999. He wasn't hungry anymore. Up until and including 1998 he legitimately thought he had a chance against Yates who everyone thought was still competing in 1998 and so Levrone brought his A game. When Dorian bowed out, everyone came in smaller because the top dog was no longer there and they were all now just competing against each other and not Dorian. Kevin lost his passion and hunger in 1999 and put more emphasis on his singing in his band and it showed in 1999. Whether or not it was a decline because of lack of effort or because of his back/knee injuries in 2000 it was still a decline from 1998.
